Slickdapper was founded in 1974, in a quaint workshop ,a couple shared a passion for the art of hat-making. Inspired by the iconic styles of the past and driven by a desire to bring them into the modern wardrobe, they embarked on a journey to craft handmade hats that speak to the soul of the wearer. Fedoras that whisper tales of mystery and intrigue, straw hats that sing of sun-kissed adventures, cowboy hats that echo the rugged spirit of the wild, and other caps that carry the essence of urban chic – each creation is a testament to our founders' vision and dedication.At first, they realized that the hat-making process produced a lot of waste and pollution, so decided to create a new brand using recycled or natural materials to make hats. And determined to develop it into a brand with a strong sense of social responsibility and environmental awareness.
